We’re going Viral!

Not sick, just spreading quickly.  Within months of deciding to expand the territory of our business, we have opened our first satellite office.
While we still catch ourselves instinctively reaching for the brake pedal, we can’t help but enjoy how well the industry is blossoming these days. People from all backgrounds are jumping into the Efficiency game but there aren’t many proven business models out there. Our Staff

Mark Faircloth (Years EA Experience: 12) started in the HVAC Industry in 1985. He has worked in the HVAC industry as a technician, installer, sales, management, and business owner. He began doing whole home diagnostic testing in 1998 with Digital Air in California. In 2000 he co-founded “HomeScan” an independent testing company that specialized in Home Energy Audits. Mark is currently the President of HDS. His certifications include but are not limited to HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, and ACCA’s Manual D and J training.
Michael Sanders (Years EA Experience: 6) began working for Southface Energy Institute in 2004 as a Field Technician for the Right Choice Program. In 2006 he began working for HDS doing the same job. He became the HDS Operations Manager and Quality Control Supervisor in 2008. His certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, ACCA’s Manual D and J training, and Earth Craft Home Inspector.
Brandon Pagel (Years EA Experience: 6) started working in construction in 1997 and then became a certified residential home inspector. In 2004 he began working for Southface Energy Institute as an Earth Craft Home Inspector. Brandon has been a Field Technician for the Right Choice Program since 2004. His certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, ACCA’s Manual D and J training, and Earth Craft Home Inspector.
Will Moyers (Years EA Experience: 4) began working for HDS as a Field Technician for the Right Choice Program in 2006. Will is currently the web and media developer for HDS as well as perfoming Energy Audits and Assesments.  His certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, and ACCA’s Manual D and J training.
David Woolbright (Years EA Experience: 5) began whole home diagnostic testing in 2005 with HomeScan in Atlanta where he quickly enjoyed being an advocate for the homeowner. In 2006 he began working for HDS as a Field Technician for the Right Choice Program. His certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, and ACCA’s Manual D and J training.
Steven Knuckles (Years EA Experience: 4) started working in construction in 1993. In 2006 he began working for HDS as a Field Technician for the Right Choice Program. His certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, and ACCA’s Manual D and J training.
Meleah Clark (Years EA Experience: 7) graduated from Emory University with a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in energy policy.  In 2003 Meleah joined Southface Energy Institute as an Earth Craft Home inspector.  Since 2006 she has worked for Home Diagnostic Solutions as the Right Choice warranty manager. Her certifications include HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, and Earth Craft Home Inspector.
Kevin Luhr (Years EA Experience: 10) co-founded “HomeScan”, an independent testing company that specialized in Home Energy Audits, in 2000. Kevin is currently Energy Star Coordinator for HDS. His certifications include but are not limited to HERS Rater, BPI’s Building Analyst and Envelope and Shell Specialist, NCI Combustion Analyst, and ACCA’s Manual D and J training.
